“I have suffered with chronic fatigue and general poor heath for years, and have always suspected it was due to endometriosis. There had just never been a right time to have a laparoscopy because I was trying for children etc. But at the beginning of 2020 I was offered one. Despite being desperate for an identifiable cause for the symptoms that really inhibited my life - including poor concentration, IBS, insomnia, poor quality sleep and debilitating tiredness - I found myself wanting to try everything else I possibly could before having the operation as I’ve already had two C sections and was worried about yet another surgery. That was when I got in touch with Mari. Mari made me a diet plan which was completely bespoke and also realistic for me to stick to; She went through all my medical information with me and really listened. Although I considered myself to have a fairly healthy diet and felt fairly knowledgeable about food and eating for wellbeing, there were a lot of things Mari discussed with me that I didn’t know, and this really changed the way I thought about food, and my eating habits. A year on, I feel like my symptoms are so much better and the changes to my diet together with yoga have given me really significant improvements. I hadn’t even realised that my digestion was as bad as it was until I experienced this change. I feel more energise, I sleep better and my mood has also really improved. I’m really grateful to Mari for her help and support as I feel now like I can manage my own symptoms with diet. “
