Tuesday Evening Yoga Classes in clarkston

 Find us on Tuesdays at 7.30pm in Greenbank Church Hall on Eaglesham road in Clarkston, Glasgow.*PLEASE NOTE - CLASS CURRENTLY AT CAPACITY - WAITLIST BELOW*

General Yoga class, run by Yoga Alliance certified Yoga teacher and local girl, Mari Ward. Mari has been practising and studying yoga for almost 25 years and is trained to teach Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Menopause Yoga, Ayurvedic Yoga & Yoga Nidra.

Classes begin with calming breath work before moving through a mindful sequence of yoga poses and ending in a snug, cosy relaxation. Lots of options given which make the class accessible for both complete beginners and experienced yogis alike.

Prices for in-person yoga classes:

  • £32 for flexible 4 class pass (message Mari for details)

  • £5 to come & try your first class (then £9 for a single class)

Workplace Wellbeing - Yoga Classses and workshops

Promoting Yoga and Nutrition in the Workplace can help support staff with work related stress and improve overall wellbeing for a positive work/life balance.

Mari has facilitated 6 week yoga courses and Yoga/Nutrition workshops for staff members within several organisations including: NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Glasgow City Council Schools and Kilbryde Hospice. Mari’s menopause yoga class at Kilbryde Hospice was recently featured in STV’s Scotland Tonight programme: Managing Menopause

Services offered for organisations and groups include:

  • 4 or 6 week Introduction to Yoga for Stress Management - Available during the working day, at lunch time or after work.

  • 4 week Introduction to Yoga for Managing Menopause - Available during the working day, at lunch time or after work.

  • Half day Yoga and Nutrition Workshop for Mental Wellbeing

  • Half day Menopause Mini-Retreat with dietary advice, lifestyle tips and Menopause yoga session with Yoga Nidra relaxation

All Yoga courses and half day Yoga and Nutrition Retreat/Workshops, can be tailored to the needs of each organisations or group.
